A Toledo visit is essential in your Spain trip
Manuel A, 20-01-2020
What a beautiful city Toledo is! Really had a great time walking around this UNESCO patrimony and learning its history. Had a personal tour guide that stay with us for almost two hours and were also able to visit iconic building (Greco’s paints are a most do).
Great Value

Enrique from Express Toledo laid a basic foundation of Toledo knowledge during the ride there.
Most of the people on our bus had not selected this version of the day trip, which included a walking tour of Toledo. Thus, our walking tour group was small (~10 people) and the guide Irene was fantastic. Both her Spanish and English were perfectly clear, and as a native of Toledo, she provided a superb insight into the town's history. The walking tour lasted about 2.5 hours, with Irene taking us to most of the major sites, as well as pointing out small details throughout the city that would otherwise go unnoticed and unappreciated. She also recommended a place to eat lunch. After the walking tour, we had the rest of the time free before the return to Madrid, and were able to make more educated choices about which sites of Toledo we wanted to go back to and pay admission to enter. Overall, a great value - would do it again.
The price of the tour was well worth it and it was fun and safe. Everyone was very nice and informative.

The guide was very nice and knowledgeable. A bit rush at the beginning but it was understandable because it was a big group and they wanted to make sure no one was left behind. After, they let us go out and about around the city and beautiful stores in the city. I really enjoyed my experience!

Good, informative. Tour in two languages made it move slower but leader managed well with the situation. Would be nice to have more in depth information, but good overview.
Easy and Affordable Way to see Toledo
Bev_M, 18-04-2019
After much consideration, we opted to take this tour to see Toledo. The price was hard to beat. The bus was over 30 minutes late leaving Madrid and things seemed a bit chaotic while we waited - a little more communication about why the bus was delayed would have been helpful. The guide offered a free drink at one of the restaurants at Toledo to make up for it (although the restaurant didn’t know it!). Anyway the tour guide in Toledo, Barbara, was great. Her ability to jump back and forth between English and Spanish was impressive and made the tour interesting for everyone. The ability to have some free time after the tour was great also - although Toledo is so beautiful that I would have loved to have had more time there (that missed half hour was truly needed). Oh and on the way back - my son left his phone on the bus - we were lucky enough to catch the bus as it rounded the corner and the bus driver was kind enough to stop and let us get it. Overall - you can’t beat the price and it’s definitely an easy way to see Toledo.
