What To Expect

Get an entry to the Torre Bellesguard, one of the most beloved works ot the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi. The castle-like building opened to the public in 2013, making it the most recent Gaudi masterpiece to be seen by his lovers.

Designed and built between 1900 and 1909, this castle-like museum and private residence stands on the site of a former hillside medieval fortress built by a Catalan king, Martí I the Humane, the last king of the House of Barcelona.

Receive the equipment for the audio tour and explore the intricate interior, including the Hall of the Bricks, the Smoking room and the terrace, which offers a stunning view over the rooftops of Barcelona. Learn about the history of the site, which goes back to Roman times.

After, wander out to the verdant gardens, enjoying the various flora and occasional works about Gaudi that pop up here and there.

When the tour is over, enjoy a complimentary glass of cava, the sparkling white wine made in Catalonia.

This Guadì building is not popular because it opens the doors to tourists only in 2018. However it worths a visit, not only for the historical / architectural interest but also because guides are really kind and helpful allowing the visitor to relive the story of Torre Bellesguard.
Many thanks to my top guide Fernando!
De lo MEJOR!

Esta bella torre (antes Hospital) es una de las joyas más hermosas y menos conocidas de Gaudí. Es increible las libertades que le concedió su amigo para que diera vía libre a todo su ingenio.

Beautiful building from Gaudi. Very quiet and relaxing place, with great landscape views of Barcelona. A lovely spot to discover.
Hidden Gem

Exceptional hidden gem of the modernism in Barcelona. Really worth a visit which is well explained with the audioguide. Incredible architecture by Gaudi and not really touristic place. Exceptional view from the top of it. Really worth a visit.

A long hot walk up to the house but worth it. A lovely house in a beautiful location. It was interesting to see a different building by Antoni Gaudi. My audio machine 'misfired' occasionally but was generally helpful. There was no problem swapping a glass juice instead cava at the end of the tour. The young woman 'guide' was helpful but did not interact very much so her role was limited.
