Very educational

This was a great way to learn about the culture of the bull fight. It's way more complicated than one might initially think. A great way to prepare ourselves for the bull fight we saw that night.
Informative visit to Las Ventas bullring in Madrid

Informative audioguide and tour of Las Ventas bullring in Madrid. We learned a lot about the history and enjoyed the chance to walk out into the ring itself. Definitely worth a visit if you have interest in seeing the bullring up close for a unique experience.
Stunning building. Tour not so great

Building is well worth the visit. Stunning piece of architecture. The tour was overpriced. We learnt about bullfighting. Wouldn’t go to a bullfight after learning more about it but get that it’s an important part of Spanish culture.

I would say visit to see the building but didn’t think the tour was worth it personally.
Good to see and feel the experience though overpriced

It was a good experience to see the bullring and listen to the audio guide to learn about the bullfighting history but the ticket is definitely overpriced. It costs €14.9 for an adult ticket but there was nothing much to do apart from seeing the place and the museum.

If you’re excited and want to see how it feels when you stand around the ring I would say go for it. That would be worth for your experience. But if you’re neutral about this I would suggest keeping this as an alternative when you have spare time in Madrid.

This place was not on my list at the beginning. It happened that I had spare time in Madrid so I just wanted to check it out. Though I’m not a fan of bullfighting but I’m quite interested in seeing the culture and history of Madrid that’s why I went. And I didn’t regret going there though I still feel that it’s overpriced but I just see bullfighting as part of their culture that’s why I didn’t regret visiting the place.
Bloodthirsty tradition

Bullfighting arena and museum designed by José Espelius, who died before its completion. Finished by Manuel Muñoz Monasterio in 1931, Las Ventas is constructed in Neo-Mudéjar style with hand-painted tiles. It seats 23,798 fans and at 196 feet in diameter is one of the largest arena in the world. The museum exhibits the history of Las Ventas; a chapel for Virgen de Guadalupe and of the Virgen de la Paloma, patrons of Mexico and Madrid, respectively. The bullring also has a modern infirmary complete with operating theatres. Bullfighters consider it most important to win here.
Visitors can avail an audio-guide in 10 languages, to visit the entire complex, daily.
