Overview
The conservation of nature and traditions of this area of the island, are the result of the care and care of those who inhabit it: Salto del pastor, the so-called heroic viticulture, grazing goats, terraces grown potatoes and sweet potatoes, legends of Menceyato Guanche, houses-caves still inhabited, traditional Canarian architecture XVI and XVIII centuries, etc.

Reviews
We parked at the Cruz del Carmen visitors center and acquired a map there. The attendant there recommended a 5km loop, marked by red poles. The trail started and ended just behind the restaurant across the street from the visitor center parking lot.
If walking from the parking lot, towards the restaurant, the trail is to the LEFT.
There was another trail to the right of the restaurant.
Even with the map and trail markers we still got a little lost. ;-)
