Wow! This was a brilliant experience!! My family and I had never dived before and the staff were lovely and patient with us! Youngest child (8) did the ranger diving and loved it! The eldest child (10) and the rest of us did basic diver gold package. It was honestly brilliant!! It was a lot of money but I knew my kids would love it and thought it would be worth it, so took the plunge! I wasn't disappointed :) This has been the highlight of, especially my eldest sons, holiday! Absolutely great! :)
If you, or your kids, or all of you are fish and love the water, don't hesitate to give this a try!!
Top tips
1. Drink plenty of water and make sure you learn in the pool with the instructor about taking the mouth piece in and out so you can keep your mouth from drying out on the ocean swim! I think this was the most helpful pre- swim advice for me :)
2. The equipment for younger ones (and unfit people like me!!) is heavy on land (light in the water)! So it's a bit of a workout and you'll be hungry and thirsty afterwards! Plan a big late lunch!! :) (Though the instructors were great in having plenty of snacks if needed and the kids loved the cake!)
3. Take some shampoo and shower gel for afterwards! (I forgot and with longish hair, I looked and felt like a straggly mess at the end (though I was so happy and buzzing from the ocean dive that I didn't care!!)
4. Book today!! You will have a greeeeat time!!
5. The instructor took some photos so if you forget your camera (like me) or want some underwater photos, you don't need to worry!

Had a great session with GooDive! I turned up at the door the day before and was able to get booked in the next day. My instructor Isa was a great teacher. Her knowledge and passion for sea life was infectious!

We had the best time diving while in Tenerife. Andrea and the team were so helpful and supportive especially as we were a big group with mixed abilities. Would definitely recommend to anybody.

Superb!
At the beginning, the equipment is practiced in the pool before going into the sea. Since I was a bloody beginner, everything didn’t work out the same way and took longer than planned. However, Roberta (owner) was very patient and took all the time to make it work. That made me and my partner feel very comfortable! When we went into the sea, Roberta continously checked whether we were doing well and reacted quickly when we had „lost our way". We felt very, very safe at all times. It was a truly indescribable experience to remember until the end of one’s life. Here you get to feel the years of experience of Goodiving through their professionalism, which allows us to recommend them from the bottom of our hearts!

I wanted to thank the whole team and especially Andrea, who's really knowledgeable and calm, nothing was an issue with him. All the instructions are perfectly understandable and will take all his time to repeat just in case.
