Welcome to Airsports Tenerife!

Our Gold flight package is the ultimate luxury version of a tandem flight. It includes:

- up to 40 min of flight time and/or a 1000m take off
- HD video and photos of your flight
- an Airsports Tenerife t-shirt
- a bottle of Cava
- free pick-up/drop-off
- bottled water

You will see Tenerife as you´ve never seen it before as you safely and silently soar over majestic landscapes and beautiful beaches together with one of our highly experienced instructors. You will also, if you wish, get the opportunity to have a go at the controls with close guidance and help from your instructor.

We have been paragliding since 1988, over 20 years of flying experience on Tenerife has given us an unrivalled understanding of the weather patterns affecting the island.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

A Fabulous Experience

This was a gift for my husbands birthday in February 2022 in Tenerife. He was collected from our hotel by Lucas and Martino who kept me informed of all the proceedings every step of the way as this was a surprise. They were really helpful, friendly and all round just lovely people who wanted to ensure my husband had the best experience possible. My husband paraglided with Martino who was so knowledgeable about paragliding, the weather required to ensure a safe flight and about the island itself. I booked the ‘Gold’ package so that we were able to have footage of this experience to keep as well. My husband loved every minute of it and the footage is amazing. We have so much to look at from videos and pictures and it just looked like an all round amazing experience. I can’t thank you enough guys! You were all brilliant on the day and made my husbands 50th birthday extra special. Thank you!

We set off from Ifonche, it is a stunning location. The first thing I can say is that the better you are at following simple steps and at dealing with your thoughts the more you will enjoy this experience. Me and my partner Darren were unsuccessful at our first attempt at take off and got a bit off an assertive pep talk off our pilots. I would recommend that you watch videos and take note of not only what you have to do but what your pilot is doing at the same time and this will help. Once in the air you settle into a seat and can enjoy the ride. I flew with Simon and Darren flew with Armondo. Simon asked me if I was enjoying the experience and I replied "Ish" when I was able to relax and enjoy the views and the ride I was and when I was focusing on how high I was and the potential dangers I enjoyed it less . However at all times we were both in the hands of very capable men and were at all times safe. They did their best to keep us calm and point out places of interest and give us the best possible experience. We both did some "mild" aerobatics. Simon's description not mine and I felt a little motion sick afterwards but have thoroughly enjoyed watching the video. I found going from the chair back into standing position very scary. Just before landing you are able to soar and I found that and landing on the stunning beach of La Caletta very gentle and enjoyable. Overall I would say do it. It is a great experience even if you are a bit scared. I feel proud and buzzing and we are left with good memories and the photos and videos to remember it by. Darren would do it again in a heartbeat but I am happy to keep my feet on the ground

Dreams can come true!

Dreams can come true - even for the larger gentleman!

I did a lot of research on the companies offering paragliding activities in south Tenerife as I wanted to sure I chose the best for experience of doing the activity and the experience they could offer me.

To me these guys stood out. Many years experience in the business as well as many years paragliding even up to world competition level. They knew their stuff and oozed confidence they would take the greatest care of you - even if it meant no flight!

I respected that! and I was not wrong in my choice!

Right from the start I was made to feel a valued customer but in a friendly way. Simon was very clear from the start that as I was a larger gent, the wind had to be sufficient otherwise we couldn’t fly - but in an informed, sensible way that just gave confidence that these people really knew what they were doing.

I expected nothing less and was not at all offended that my issues with gravity could be an issue (by the way - it was explained that even though I was in under the max weight limit - it was no guarantee as the wind was everything).

So 7 of us went up and up and up to the launch site and when we got there, the views were spectacular - but very little wind.

2 solo gliders had to wait quite a while before the wind played ball for them and then (after another wait) the first tandem went off (Anthony was a much more slender chap than I was).

The wind was being a pain, but the views and the chat was making it no issue, but I was fully prepared for the flight to be called off (after all, no-one wants to take a risk).

However, eventually (I reckon 45 minutes after we got there) the wind picked up and it was action stations.

Suited up, the instruction to walk, then run came and before I knew it, we were soaring away and ‘enjoy’ became the theme.

It was incredible! For me, a lifelong dream I’d waited far to long too realise was coming true and it was all rather emotional - almost a religious experience really.

Simon was amazing and attentive, making sure I made the most of the experience. I can’t explain how unreal and fantastic it felt.

All I can say to people is - don’t be nervous and miss out in the experience of a lifetime.

It’s taken me many years to get the courage up and now I wish I’d done it sooner.

I can’t stop smiling
