Fantastic way to see Girona

Wow! We learned so much on this tour. Our guide, Ona, was so knowledgeable! We would have missed so much history if we had not done the tour.
Great tour of Girona with history and current events mixed in

I have been to Girona several times, and this was my first tour of the city. What a great experience. I learned so much about the history, legends, sites, and aspects of current life in Girona.

Marc was our guide, and he is fantastic - informative, friendly, passionate and easy-going. His knowledge of his hometown history and the surrounding area is superb, and he was happy to offer suggestions for further sightseeing and dining in Girona and beyond.

Highly recommend this tour.
Beautiful town, great tour, thoroughly enjoyed it.

We took a day trip from Barcelona to do this tour.
Marc, our tour guide, is a native of Girona and you can tell he is very proud and passionate about his town. His English is excellent and is topped only by his knowledge of Girona and its history. He showed us some beautiful out of the way places in addition to the main attractions. His stories made the history come alive.
Four of our family went on this tour. Two had seen Game of Thrones and two had not. Marc did a great job of making sure the two that were into the show got to see all of the spots where season 6 was filmed. He had an iPad with great pictures and video clips that he would show when we arrived at the spot. He did it in such a way that the two that had not seen GOT did not feel left out and still held their interest. He made sure to show plenty of other parts of the town so that everyone of us enjoyed our time with him. He made great suggestions for lunch and also helped us plan our afternoon drive to the Costa Brava (40 minutes away). He told us of some great spots with beautiful views that we would not have found just using the guide book. I highly recommend this tour.
Amazing Girona!

This tour is a must when in Girona. Our guide Marc was friendly, knowledgeable and a complete joy! We saw and learned so much about the history and stories of this quaint village. Even though we are not Game of Thrones fans it was fascinating to see the footage Marc showed us of them filming throughout the village. Might need to watch season 6! Lol He also gave us great tips for other activities and places to see. This tour was top on our list of things we did while in this beautiful country of Spain!
Fantastic tour!

We took the train in from Barcelona to Girona. It was only a 40 minute ride. Then took a 10 minute taxi ride from the train station to our meeting point. Our guide was Marc. We were not only impressed with Marc’s knowledge of Girona’s history, but also his knowledge of Spanish history as a whole. This was the best tour that we experienced during our trip through Spain. Marc’s wealth of knowledge and handle on the English language made for a very enjoyable 4 hours. We were fortunate, too, as we were the only 2 on the tour so it was essentially a private tour. Girona is beautiful and its history is fascinating. Highly recommend this tour. And the scenes from GOT filmed here are also incorporated into the tour, but it’s not the driving force so if you’ve never watched, not to worry. I never watched, but my husband is a huge GOT fan and he got so much more out of the tour as a whole than he had anticipated. Thank you to Marc for an amazing introduction to Girona!
