Ask for Aranxa, she really made the tour. First she gave us the history of flamenco, which made the show so much more meaningful and enjoyable. She gave us the history while we walked the theater/arts/flamenco district. She brought us to three tapas bars. She explained the custom is to visit several places. You start at one, have their specialty tapa, a drink, then move on. The first place we had some wonderful cheeses and charcuterie and a specialty tostada, like bruschetta with many different types of toppings to choose from. I stepped out of my box and got the Roquefort cheese with anchovy. While it didn’t sound like something I would order, it was very tasty, the anchovy was not salty. Their version was more like a more briny neutral flavor which complimented the bold cheese. The place after flamenco was known for their shrimp, pardon peppers , and grilled items. We also had asparagus. Each were really tasty and went well with the wonderful bread. The flamenco show was very emotional. The musicians, singers and dancers showed emotion that was electric. I definitely recommend this tour and the tour guide, Aranxa.

This was a terrific experience. Our tour guide, Ariana, was fantastic. She was informative and engaging. The food was delicious and the Flamenco show was an amazing experience. It was a great evening!

We participated in 3 different tours. Two in Madrid and one in Seville. I read about these tours on a flood blog prior to our trip. We originally only booked the tapas and Flamenco tour. We ended up booking another tour (I believe tapas and wine) while we were in Madrid and another in Seville. Highly recommend. The guides were passionate and informative. We are foodies and travel for food experiences and this was one of the better food tours I’ve been on. We learned so much about not only food, but the Spanish culture, history of Madrid and so much more. We’ve recommended these tours to two different friends who enjoyed their experiences as well.
