Enjoy one of the nicest, if not the nicest coffee scenery that can be experienced as a day tour from Medellin. (It might be the nicest but for respect to other fellow tour operators, we will leave it as "one of the nicest".) We're the only company authorized to visit this coffee farm and we take you to some of the best photo spots in the area.

What To Expect

Concordia's main square

This tour starts with a kind of early pick-up in Medellín at 6:30 am.

We will drive south on the so-called Panamerican highway and then head southwest towards the closest coffee region to Medellín.

During this jaw-dropping drive you will see forests, sugar-cane fields, coffee plantations, waterfalls, fancy week-end homes, the Cauca River, all of these as we go from the Central Andes to the Western Andes.

At the coffee farm near Concordia you will learn everything it takes to produce export quality coffee, from the seed, to the harvest, to the processing, marketing and roasting and even learn some insight about fair-trade coffee.

While in town, we will visit the coffee cooperative to better understand the coffee market and see what an authentic coffee town looks like.

After the coffee tour, we will have lunch either at a farm or at a road-side restaurant before heading back to Medellin.

Please note that we're the only tour operator allowed to visit this farm so it will surely be a unique experience that we hope makes it among your best days in Colombia.

I brought my husband and son with his new fiancée to Medellin as an early wedding present, and treated them to this tour and the city tour to Comuna 13. We had no idea how breathtaking the overall experience was going to be and it was the highlight of our vacation! Andres our guide has so much knowledge and such a desire to share his country with you...always able to answer our questions or share a fascinating story or two. At one point he took us to a vista on the on the coffee farms that gave us a 360 panorama of the countryside. We loved participating in the coffee harvesting process and seeing what all goes into its creation, and the lunch at the farm after was delightful. The drive to and from is not for the faint of heart - you'll be doing genuine 4-wheeling a few times but that's all part of the adventure! Do yourself a favor and book this tour. It's truly memorable.

Best tour of our life

A tour that doesn't feel like a tour in the best possible way. We learned what the coffee process is actually like in Colombia, and picked and processed coffee fruits with our own hands. The scenery in this part of Antioquia is unlike anything. The food was incredible. Andres was the perfect tour guide for us and our interests such as birds, plants, etc. We felt we were in the best possible hands. We ended about a 12-day vacation in Colombia with this tour, and are so grateful for the experience and beautiful memories it left us.

My husband and I had an AMAZING time with Andrés, the day ended up being so much more than a coffee tour. We spent 8 days in Colombia (across Medellin & Cartagena) and this day was definitely the highlight of our overall trip. Andrés is a wonderful guide and extremely knowledgable - we learned a lot! When mountain meets coffee

This coffee tour was an absolute highlight of my time in Colombia! Spending all driving through the mountains and the countryside of Antioquia was just so amazing. Andres is an amazing tour guide and super knowledgeable about the coffee industry. We spend a whole day with him and the experience was fabulous from the beginning until the end. The scenery of the coffee region was breathtaking and you will not regret it!

Andreas is the best! I originally booked an airport pickup to my hotel and a coffee tour. Those were no brainers for me but very undecided about other areas of interest. Straight from the airport Andreas gave me a good overview of the city. I felt so impressed and enjoyed Andreas that I never looked at another tour. Andreas customized a city tour for me and my friend for the items I was interested in. Andreas core is coffee tour, horseback riding and areas he is not as comfortable he has people who are.
To say I felt lucky and happy with my experience is an understatement. Customized experience is the way to go if you have never been here. I had a friend from Medellin who joined us and she had a great time seeing and hearing about things she had never known or seen before both in and outside the city.
