Amazing tour of Prado museum

Our tour guide Rocio was amazing. She knew so much about the art, and it was magical to listen. She showed us many different art works and talked at length about each one.
El Retiro park tour (with a different tour guide) was not so informative. You are better off skipping the guided tour and just enjoying the park yourself.

Prado and El Retiro tour

This is a great tour. The tour guide was excellent. She loves what she do and she have very knowledge about the art. The Prado museum is the must see ! After the tour of the Prado we meet other tour guide for El Retiro Park, He was also so wonderful, very nice and very helpful. Great place to relax just like the name of the park.

We only got to see the park, which was great. We did not get to the museum. The gap between the park and the English language Prado tour was too great, and not clear in the description beforehand.

transition was a mess

The Prado tour and El Retiro Park tours were both great but the transition between them was awful. it was really two separate tours After Prado, the tour guide pointed us to El Retiro park and told us to look for another guide there. There was not set starting time to leave on the second tour, so we stood with tour guide for 30+ minutes "in case anyone else arrives". I would do these as separate tours with separate starting times so you don't stand around waiting. Usually, tours start within 5 minutes of the starting time regardless of whether everyone is there or not. But with separate guides and separate starting times, the transition between the two tours was a mess.
