Picked up from the front of our hotel by a friendly driver in a minibus and expertly taken up into the mountains of the Teide National Park where we joined the rest of the excursion at the 1242 winery for the start of the experience. Don't want to spoil anything by saying what happens next, but suffice to say what you think is normal isn't! These guys really know what they are talking about!
The food at the winery is fantastic with a great atmosphere, all with some very palatable accompanying wines.
The pinnacle of the evening is worth the wait! Absolutely amazing is an understatement. Such a surreal experience that you may never see again. We highly reccomend this trip to everyone.
If you are going during the colder months, be sure to wrap up super warm- you’ll need all the layers and warmth you can get up there!!
